SUNDAY

Drive via Puigpunyent to Galatzó. We hike across a lonely plateau, first downhill and then steeply uphill. Finally, we reach a broad ridge with marvellous panoramic views. A one-hour, steep and rocky ascent awaits us here, which takes us above the tree line up to the summit of Galatzó (1027 m), where we experience a gigantic panoramic view of the south coast and, on a clear day, even of the neighbouring island of Ibiza. This mountain path is now followed by a steep and bumpy descent via the Es Bisbe crossroads. We experience unrivalled views of the west coast, the mountain village of Estellencs and even as far as the Coll des Carnisseret.

 

We have earned a rustic picnic in the open air. This is followed by another descent on a forest path with beautiful views of the bay of Palma and as far as the Font des Pí. Drive back to Port de Sóller.
