FRIDAY

Pure panorama! Palma's unknown local mountain "Serra de Na Burguesa"

We take a 45-minute minibus ride to the famous Na Burguesa viewpoint, located above the suburb of Genova. Our first climb takes us along an easy forest path to Coll des Pastors. Then a narrow mountain trail leads us to the summit of Puig de Bendinat (480 m). The spectacular panoramic view of the vibrant capital Palma and its picturesque bay is absolutely worth experiencing. Our hiking trail, which is rocky and stony in places, continues along the mountainside, sometimes downhill, sometimes uphill, to the historic Mirador de n'Alzamora viewpoint. Here we enjoy fantastic views of the wide sea, the beautiful Tramuntana mountains and the extraordinary hinterland of the island.

We have now really earned our local picnic in the forest. Well fortified, we hike through lush pine forests, past fragrant rosemary and exotic strawberry trees. Via a pleasant but briefly steep forest path, we reach Puig de'n Bou. Beautiful panoramas over the wide plains of Mallorca accompany us to the breathtaking Coll des Pastors. A pleasant final descent finally brings us back to the starting point.
