Drive to the local mountain village of Puigpunyent. From there, we walk along cultivated fields until we reach the majestic noble finca Son Fortes. Now we head uphill on an old cart track. We enjoy the scent of the gnarled olive trees and are impressed by the magnificent views of the bay of Palma. We finally reach the finca ruin Muntanya. A quaint secret path through the forest takes us to the imposing Na Costitxa crevice.

We enjoy our local picnic against this backdrop. Well fortified, we head downhill on an old, stony wooden path through a gorge. Another hidden secret path leads us back through a riverbed to the sleepy village of Puigpunyent. After a coffee break, we return to Port de Sóller.
