Our minibus takes us to the municipal forest of Fornalutx. We start on an old cart track through a pine forest and hike to the Sa Bassa picnic area. We continue uphill on a gravel path with great views of Puig Major to the Sa Corbatera viewpoint. A narrow and stony mountain path leads us up to the summit of Puig de sa Bassa (819 m). We are treated to a magnificent and unique panoramic view of the Sóller valley, the wide sea and the famous Tramuntana mountains.

We then descend back to the hunting lodge, after which we hike along an overgrown secret path through private olive groves to the magnificent Mirador de ses Barques viewpoint. The perfect place for our picnic! This is followed by a long descent along an old donkey path and finally through well-tended olive groves. Fantastic panoramas and unforgettable photo opportunities accompany us back to the port of Port de Sóller.
