Alpine mountaineering happiness.

A feeling of exhilaration with a view of the Puig Tomir

We take the minibus to Finca Menut in the Lluc Valley. Our 1.5-hour and demanding ascent begins here. With steep and scree paths, past some climbing passages up to the majestic Tomir peak (1103m). A grandiose panoramic view of the bay of Pollença, Alcúdia, Cape Formentor, the valley of Lluc, the plains of Mallorca and the surrounding Tramuntana mountains await us up here. Then it's an hour over a stony descent past the rocky mountains to the Coll de Fartàritx. A forest path follows, which leads us past newly reforested fields. We walk over a narrow, fully overgrown path through cutting grass meadows to the lonely Finca Alcanella.
We enjoy a local picnic on the way.
A newly laid out stony road leads us up through mixed forest to Coll Pelat, where we reach the well-known Gr-221. A wide forest path then goes downhill through an oak forest to the Son Amer mountain hut. After a leisurely drink break, we take the minibus back to Port de Sóller.
