On secret paths through the nature reserve Parc Natural de Llevant in Artà

The day begins with a longer and picturesque journey in a minibus across the plains to the town of Betlem. This is followed by an hour-long ascent via an old pilgrimage route to the Betlem hermitage. And further up it goes over the GR-222. A little further down we have a breathtaking view of the backland from Artà to the “Prisoners' Way”. A wide gravel path leads us slightly uphill past an abandoned barracks. Again and again we experience beautiful views and photo opportunities of the pristine coast of Artà. Even to the neighboring island of Menorca and to the “Pas des Porcs”. On the way we find a nice place for our local picnic again. Then a narrow and stony stealth path leads us over a rocky key point. We walk steeply on a wide forest path for half an hour past cutting grass fields and above natural bays back to Betlem. We will return to Port de Sóller by minibus.
